A little candle care goes a long way. Follow these simple tips to help your candle burn evenly, smell amazing, and last longer.

1. Trim Your Wick Before Every Burn

Always trim your wick to about ¼ inch before lighting. This helps prevent soot, keeps the flame steady, and ensures a clean, even burn.

2. Let the Wax Pool

On the first burn, allow the candle to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This usually takes 2–3 hours and helps prevent tunneling so you get the most out of your candle.

3. Burn in Intervals

For best results, burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This keeps the fragrance balanced and protects the wick from overheating.

4. Place on a Stable, Draft-Free Surface

Keep your candle away from fans, open windows, or air vents. Drafts can cause uneven burning and excess smoke.

5. Keep It Clean
